Our Story

Our story goes back to 2016

About Us

In 2016 Grace Pointe Church and I started going to Avondale Center in Chattanooga, TN every Wednesday from 6-8pm. We would feed the kids, teach bible lessons/activities and ensure the boys were well groomed for the week. I alone began cutting 15-25 boys each Wednesday. The joy on their faces inspired me to organize volunteers to service young girls as well. Myself along with my barber students and volunteers now serve 50-100 of our local youth on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of every month. We provide free hair cuts, girl hair designs and nail painting.

Our mission is to simply meet the needs of the underserved community by providing free hair cuts, feeding families and providing valuable resources. We are here to ensure the essential needs of the community are met in practical ways.
